  • Coated Braided Polyglactin 910 B.P. Violet and Undyed.

  • Surgilactin suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide.

  • Surgilactin sutures are dyed with D&C Violet # 2.

    Surgilactin is available in a range of gauge sizes and lengths, non-needled or attached to stainless steel needles of varying types and sizes.

  • Minimal tissue reaction.

  • Easy passage through tissue.

  • Uses - Surgilactin sutures are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is indicated.

  • Sterilised by Ethylene Oxide.

  • Coating - Surgilactin sutures are coated with a mixture of copolymer of glycolide & lactide and Calcium stearate.
 
  Surgilactin sutures from Sutures Ltd are guaranteed to meet the requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia (B.P.), the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.), and the United States Pharmacopoeia (U.S.P.) except for an occasional slight oversize in some gauges.
