Absorbable Sutures > Surgicaprone Monofilament polyglecaprone 25 B.P. Violet and Undyed. Surgicaprone suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of Poly (glycolide-co--caprolactone). Surgicaprone sutures are dyed with D&C Violet # 2. Surgicaprone is available in range of gauge sizes and lengths, non-needled or attached to stainless steel needles of varying types and sizes. Minimul tissue reaction. Easy passage through tissue. Uses - Surgicaprone sutures are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is indicated for short term support.
