- Manufactured from strands of very fine yarned polymide 6/6 fibres which are sheathed with seamless polymide 6 coating, guages 1.5 (4/0) and above are braided and 1(5/0) and below are monofilament.
- Smooth passage through tissue with minimal trauma.
- Smooth surface will not support bacterial growth.
- Braided construction gives better tying qualities and greater flexibility.
- Type - non-absorbable synthetic material.
- Uses - Procedures where non-absorbable braided sutures are indicated, especially skin and G.I. anastomosis.
- Sterilised by Gamma Irradiation.
