  • Monosorb suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture prepared from the polyester poly (dioxanone).

  • Monosorb sutures are dyed with D&C Violet # 2.

  • Monosorb is available in a range of gauge sizes and lengths, non-needled or attached to stainless steel needles of varying types and sizes.

  • Minimal tissue reaction.

  • Easy passage through tissue.

  • Uses - Polydioxanone sutures are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is indicated.

  • Sterilised by Ethylene Oxide.
